COURT OF APPEAL (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2005
EXPLANATORY MEMORANDUM
This Act amends the Court of Appeal Act Cap. C36 1993, No 65 LFN. 2004, to increase the number of Justices of the Court of Appeal from fifty to seventy.

ENACTED by the National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria:
Amendment of Cap. C 36, 1993, No 65 LFN, 2004
The Court of Appeal Act, as amended, is hereby further amended in section 1 by substituting therefore the following new section:
“The number of Justices of the Court of Appeal including the President of that Court shall be seventy.”
Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Court of Appeal (Amendment) Act, 2005.
