ORDER 1
Objectives
1.
(1) The objective of this rule is to enable the Court deal with A.M.C.O.N. claims quickly and efficiently.
(2) The judge shall give effect to the objective referred to in sub-rule (1) of this rule it every stage of A.M.C.O.N. claim when exercising any power given by the Act or Rules.
Application
2.
(1) These Rules shall apply to all A.M.C.O.N. claims.
(2) Every form prescribed under these Rules may be modified or varied to suit the circumstances of the case.
ORDER 2
Case Management
1.
The judge shall further the objectives of these Rules by active case management.
What case management entails

(1) Active case management includes-
(a) identifying the issues at an early stage;
(b) deciding the order in which issues are to be resolved;
(c) encouraging the parties to use an ADR mechanism;
(d) encouraging parties to settle the whole or part of the case
(e) fixing timetables and otherwise controlling the progress of the case;
(f) dealing with as many aspects of the case as possible on the same occasion even when not scheduled.
(g) making use of technology and
(h) giving directions to ensure that the trial of a case proceeds quickly and efficiently.
ORDER 3
Place of institution of claim
1.
A claimant shall file its claim where the defendant or where any of several defendants reside or carries out substantial part of its business.
