AFFIDAVIT OF SERVICE
I, Folake Adisa, Male, Muslim, Nigerian, Litigation Manager in the Chambers of Coker & CO., Legal Practitioners of No. 300, Okua Road, Akure, Ondo State do make oath and state as follows:
- I am the Deponent herein.
- By virtue of my position, I am familiar with the facts of this case.
- I have the prior authority and consent of the plaintiff and the consent of my employers to depose to this affidavit.
- On the 14th day of September, 2013, the principal partner in the chambers of Coker & CO., to wit: Halima Sule handed over to me a copy each of the following documents: Writ of Summons, Statement of Claim, Witness Statement on Oath and List of Witnesses.
- Ms Halima Sule directed me to send the Writ of Summons, Statement of Claim, Witness Statement on Oath and List of Witnesses to the Respondent through Express Mail Service (EMS) Courier Service of the Nigeria Postal Service.
- At about 8.20am on the said 14th day of September, 2013, the court processes were sent to the Respondent through the said Express Mail Service (EMS) Courier Service of the Nigeria Postal Service.
- A photocopy of the receipts issued to me on behalf of Coker & CO is attached hereto and marked as Exhibit ‗A'.
- I am sure that the court processes as sent has been delivered to the Respondent.
