EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT

THIS EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT is made this ______day of_____, 20__ , between [ name of employer] a [status of employer, company, venture, business etc] duly incorporated pursuant to the Companies and Allied Matters Act Cap C20 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004 with its registered office address [insert address] (hereinafter referred to as "THE EMPLOYER" which expression shall where the context so admits include its Principals, Successors-in-title, Representatives and Assigns) of the one part;

AND

[name of employee], of_____[insert employee's address] (hereinafter referred to as the Employee which expression shall where the context permits include its agents, assigns, representatives and successor-in title

WHEREAS:

1. The Employer runs a logistic business.

2. The Employer desires to obtain the benefit of the services of the Employee.

3. The Employee desires to render such services and assures that he/she is capable of rendering the services requested by the Employer.

4. The Employer and the Employee hereby agree to this Agreement in order to define their rights, interest, relation, liabilities and obligations subject to the terms, conditions and fee arrangement hereinafter set forth.

NOW THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH AS FOLLOWS:

1. CONSIDERATION

i. In consideration of this Agreement between parties, the Employer shall pay the sum of N insert salary in figure (insert salary in words) only to the Employee, receipt of which the Employee shall acknowledge as a monthly salary.

ii. The above-stated monthly salary shall serve as a monthly compensation for the time spent, work done and services rendered by the Employee to the Employer.

iii. The monthly salary shall be subjected to appropriate statutory deductions as requested by government authorities and revenue bodies.

iv. The salary mentioned in paragraph I above may be reviewed based on the performance of the Employee on an annual basis or as deem fit by the Employer, whichever comes first.

2. COMPENSATION

The Employer will reimburse the Employee for all reasonable expenses arising out of employment if and only if such expenses had been authorized prior to being incurred and with the provision of appropriate receipts for such expenses by the Employee.
