SUB-LEASE

DEED OF SUB-LEASE

THIS SUBLEASE is made the 16th day of October, 2012 BETWEEN Mr. A of No.2, Kalejaye Street, Bwari, Abuja (Sub-lessor) of the one part AND Mr. B of No.3, Durodola Street, Bwari-Abuja (Sub-lessee) of the other part.

BACKGROUND/RECITAL

• By a lease dated ________ day of ______ 2009 between head-lessor of No.1, Kalejaye Street, Bwari and the sub-lessor ever 2 bedroom flat apartment situated at No.2, Kalejaye Street, Bwari, Abuja subject to terms and conditions contained in the said lease.
• The sub-lessor has an unexpired term of ________years at the date of this sublease.
• The sub-lessor has agreed with the sub-lessee to create a sub-lease over the demised premises for the period of the remaining term less one day with the consent of the head lessor.

NOW THIS SUB-LEASE WITNESSES AS FOLLOWS:

In consideration of the sum of N paid by the sub-lessee to the sub- lessor, the receipt of which the sub-lessor acknowledges, the sub-lessor creates in favour of the sub-lessee a term of years subject to terms and conditions contained in this sub-lease.

IN WITNESS OF WHICH THE PARTIES HAVE SET THEIR HANDS AND SEALS THE DAY AND YEAR FIRST ABOVE WRITTEN.
