AFFIDAVIT IN SUPPORT OF MOTION

I, ABC John, Male, Christian, Nigerian Citizen, Businessman of No.2 xxxxxx, Lagos do hereby make oath and state as follows:

1. I am the 1st Claimant/Applicant in the suit herein by virtue of which I became conversant with the facts of this case.
2. I brought this suit in a representative capacity to represent myself and the entire members of John family in Xxxxx Local Government Area of Lagos State.
3. I have the authority and consent of all the family members to depose to this affidavit on their behalf.
4. I have the authority and consent to institute and prosecute this suit in a representative capacity emanated from the resolution of the entire family members.
5. The entire family held a meeting on 15/03/2020 wherein it was unanimously agreed that the present matter be pursued and DEF John, GHI John and myself were nominated as the representatives to bring the action in the name of the entire family.
6. Attached and marked Exhibit ‗A' is a copy of the minutes of meeting where others and I were appointed as representatives.
7. The Defendant would not in any way be prejudiced if the leave is granted to me and others to prosecute this matter.
8. I depose to this affidavit in good faith believing the contents to be true and correct and in accordance with the Oaths Act.
