SAMPLE OF A WILL

THIS IS THE LAST WILL OF ALHAJI ADE MUSA of No 2,xxxxxx, Abuja, a Businessman.

1. I appoint my friend, Mr Emeka Bolu of No. 2,xxxxxx, Abuja to be the executor and trustee of this my will.
2. I HEREBY revoke all existing Will made by me prior to this will.
3. I DECLARE that Mr Emeka Bolu who is the executor of this my Will being a legal practitioner shall be entitled to charge and be paid all usual professional or other charges for business done, services rendered or time spent by him or his firm in the administration of my estate.
4. I give the sum of N50 million to my children Bobo, Abigail and Friday in equal shares.
5. I give my shares in ABC Bank Plc to my 1st son Dami of No. 3,xxxxx, Abuja and if Dami predecease me to his son, Femi.
6. I give my Range Rover with Registration ABC 123 XYZ to Amaka my daughter of No. 3, xxxxxx, Abuja.
7. I give all my real property to my wife, Amina Musa of No 2, xxxxx, Abuja for care and love for me in my lifetime.
8. I DECLARE that Subject to the payment of my debts, funeral and testamentary expenses and all estate duty on any gift made, I give all the real and personal property not by this will or by any codicil specifically disposed of including any property over which many has power of disposition by will to My wife absolutely.
9. Any executor or dependant(s) not already considered in this will shall be entitled to a sum of N1,000,000 from my residual estate.
