WITNESS STATEMENT ON OATH
I, Tunde Bakare, Adult, Male, Christian, a Director and Nigeria citizen of No. 1 Meridian Street, Victoria Island, Lagos do make oath and state as follows:
- I am a director in the Claimant company by virtue of which I am conversant with facts of this suit.
- I have the authority of the Claimant to make this statement on oath.
- The Claimant entered into a partnership contract with the defendant between March 1995 and December 1997 which was evidenced in writing. The purpose of the contract is to perform a catering service to ……………….. organization for which the 20(twenty) vehicles were purchased in the partnership name.
- The contract was performed by both parties and subsequently the sum of 2.17million accrued.
- The wrote several letters of demand to the Defendant for the share of the proceeds of the contract and the 20 vehicles. Later, the defendant refused to respond to any of the letters and instead purported to convert the 20 vehicles to its sole use.
- The Claimant has suffered loss and damages as a result of the facts stated above.
- I make this statement conscientiously and in good faith according to the Oath Act.
